Bubblewrap or mouth guard?

April is National Facial Protection Month

Sports injuries can cause severe trauma to teeth and their supporting structures.  Proper protection can help lessen or alleviate potential injuries.  Mouth guards can be custom made for maximum protection in a cost-effective manner.  If you wear braces, it is important to have your orthodontist evaluate your mouth guard to make certain it is not hindering tooth movement needed during treatment.
